Info for purchasing wigs and raw hair ponytails
When we state the length of our texture/ curls products sold on this site we stretch the hair. This means the pattern of the hair is dry not wet and ensures that when we say its ready to wear it means there are no unexpected surprises, this also does mean that if you decide to style your texture/ curls smoother you will find its not horrendously longer and uneven to the length that it was measured.
It is completely normal for hair to feel longer when wet or styled smooth and when it is left to air dry or diffused into shape it will shrink back to its measured length. For us as a brand we would rather educate you on hair behaviours than leave you not sure what you're buying. It is recommended you buy slightly longer in length, then you will have you have the option to have it cut shorter. This saves you feeling like the hair is long enough. Plus, gives you the option to change the style to shorter in the future.

Hair Harvesting
Ideally one length hair is great as its a lot more simple than layers to measure. (Bare in mind if the ponytail has lots of short lengths or layers in your weight of the length will be less). Place your hair into ponytail(s) of where you would be comfortable with the shortest length to cut your bio hair. (most people do this to a bob length or jaw length). You are then able to take a tape measure and measure the length from the band to the ends of the hair. We make payment on the length, weight and colour of the hair. So when your hair is cut it maybe that multiple ponytails are created to achieve more weight at the same lengths.
